 | | | Dutch Language House of Brussels
Helping non-first-language speakers living in Brussels to learn better Dutch and within a shorter space of time. Encouraging people living in Brussels or those working or visiting the city to speak Dutch. This is the dual aim of the Dutch Language House, located in Philippe de Champagnestraat in Brussels.
The 'three-Cornerstone house' is there to point people in the direction of a tailor-made Dutch course. The capital has more professional, cultural and social opportunities to offer to those who can speak Dutch. This applies to non-Belgian students, asylum seekers, natives of Brussels, French-speaking members of ethnic minorities and employees of the European Union or international companies.
On the basis of targeted incentives, the 'three-Cornerstone house' helps to ensure those living, working or visiting Brussels hear or see Dutch more often. Consequently, Brussels can fully play its role as the capital of a country with two large language communities. More people will therefore truly feel at home in Brussels, which can only benefit all of us.
