The general aim of Cornerstone 2 is intrinsic quality support for Dutch language courses, Dutch language support and Dutch language encouragement in Brussels.
Cornerstone 2 aims its support at different fields. We are, for instance, reaching a very diversified audience and we are working together with lots of different partner organisations. We have been operating for years in Dutch-speaking social-professional integration actions, which are dealing with a foreign-language audience. Besides, we work together with all Dutch-speaking schools for higher education in Brussels to support their students in linguistic terms. We are also leading the project School en Ouders (School and Parents) in which Centres for Adult Education offer language lessons to parents of children in Dutch-speaking primary and secondary education. We also work with a series of partners on more opportunities to use and practise Dutch in the Dutch-speaking social-cultural sector in Brussels. And finally, cornerstone 2 supports the Centres for Adult Education in developing support centres for the guidance of students of the Centres for Adult Education. We are always open to new questions or new forms of cooperation.
