Patati@work
Everyone learns languages by practicing them. This is important, because practising gives people confidence to speak. Many people have taken Dutch language courses, but they begin to speak Dutch only once they have practised enough.
With Patati@work, colleagues practise their languages together. They take an individual course which enables them to practice where, when, what and with whom they want.
Companies and organisations that wish to do so can support these efforts with actions that are visible in the entire organisation.
The Dutch Language House provides customised advice for your organisation and works out a wide range of ideas for activities.
For large organisations, we create a customised Patati website with a closed database, where participants can go each time to find a partner within their own organisation and to get specific information for their company, institution or sector.
Patati@work has grown out of Patati Patata. Individuals can go to www.patati.be to look for someone with a different mother tongue and the same interests to practise their languages together. You can read more about it here.
