Tests as part of the priority enrolment scheme for Dutch-speaking schools and nurseries

Would you like to enrol your child at a Dutch-speaking school or nursery? You will be given priority if you have a certain level of Dutch.

Test to secure priority enrolment for your child at a Dutch-speaking nursery

What level do you need to achieve?

How does it work?

  • You will take the test with one of our consultants.
  • The test is taken orally and lasts 30 minutes.
  • The test consists of 2 parts: In the first part only you will speak; the second part is a dialogue with a consultant.
  • You will be given a topic to talk about. The topics are real-life situations at a nursery. You will be given a short time to prepare this.
  • You will receive the results of the test within 7 days. If the result is satisfactory, you will receive a certificate which you give to the nursery. If you did not reach the required level, you may repeat the test after 6 months.
  • The test is free of charge.
