The big day for Brussels residents learning Dutch to practise their language skills. This is already the fifth edition! On Thursday 26 November 2026, Brussels residents will once again have the chance to meet up, practise Dutch in an inspiring way and get to know the Dutch-speaking community in Brussels better.
Over 60 activities to practise your Dutch
Allez, allez! Come and practise your Dutch at Allez:NL: a whole day of activities all over Brussels. Singing together, reading, playing sport, visiting an exhibition, watching a film… and chatting, chatting, chatting!
On Thursday 26 November, over 50 Brussels-based organisations are organising free activities for you. And it’s all in Dutch.
CAPITAL vzw is the central venue from morning until evening.
Anyone aged 16 or over who wants to practise Dutch is welcome. Beginners are also welcome.

Programme for the day
- 9.00 am: 'Ontbijt NL' at Capital: come and have a chat at our large breakfast table, then head off to the activities
- 11.00 am: Start of the morning’s activities
- 1.30 pm: 'Koffie NL' at Capital: come and have a chat over coffee and cake, followed by a departure for the activities
- 3 pm: Start of afternoon activities
- 6 pm: Start of evening activity: 'Super Afterwork NL' + Sing-along!
- From 8 pm: The DJ gets the party started. Will you keep dancing?
How does it work?

- choose 1, 2 or 3 activities – in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening
- register for free from 15 October to 12 November (to register, click on the link in the PDF listing all the activities)
- on Thursday 26 November, come first to Capital (Antwerpsesteenweg 40, 1000 Brussels) to collect your wristband, enjoy a free breakfast and take part in the entertainment - in the afternoon, there’ll be coffee and cake
- head to your activity and practise your Dutch
