Certification tests
Do you need to prove your knowledge of Dutch? Enrol in a certification test. If you pass, you will receive the official certificate.
How does it work?
You make an appointment for a pre-screening advice.
- A consultant will have a brief chat with you. This allows the consultant to assess your language level and your digital skills. This will help you decide whether you’re ready for the test.
- At the end of the interview, you’ll receive an advice. It’s up to you whether or not to follow that advice.
- If you wish to take the test, you will be given an appointment for part 1 of the test. Then you also have to pay.
The certification test consists of two parts. You’ll take the two parts on two different days.
- During the first part, we’ll test your reading and listening skills in Dutch. This part lasts 2 hours. You’ll take the test on a computer. You’ll have to select the correct answer for each question. If you pass, you can book an appointment for the second part of the test.
- During the second part, we’ll test your writing and speaking skills in Dutch. This part also lasts 2 hours.
